As we head into winter with all the uncertainty surrounding our nation, and the longer nights draw in, it would be easy to feel a little low, write off 2020 and think God have you really been at work in this season?
So on Sunday 4th October we enjoyed a great evening together at Vision Focus. On the night we took a moment to look back on all that God has done in and through our church so far this year. As you can see below, he has done great things and this gives us confidence to trust him for the season ahead.
As well as all these things our groups have continued to meet, our pastoral team have continued to care for many, we’ve continued to support our Hope Works partnerships, we’ve seen 15 new members join the church and get stuck in, we’ve raised new leaders and preachers – all whilst being amazingly supported by all the techy people involved in making this season happen. God has been so faithful to us!
A few things we’re particularly looking forward to in the next season is the eldership appointment and meeting taking place on 18th October 2020, as well as sending Paul and Jo to start the journey of church planting in the middle east.
